Purpose
Initial Purpose
Provisional place for donations to fund the current fight against the overthrow of the Nevada State Constitution by the Nevada Supreme Court whose recent ruling that a constitutionally required 2/3 majority is not needed to pass a tax increase.
General Purpose
To elect representatives that truly represent the people who voted them into office and who will work to protect the constitution and defend the principles that our nation was founded on instead betraying the people and their principles by catering to the special interests that seek to influence them once they are elected. We will also be working to make the constitution stronger so that it will be able to withstand attacks from judicial activists.
Concept
The common everyday Joe & Jane citizen do not have access to a political action committee to promote their interests. This will give them an organizational structure that will have a more forceful influence on public officials. Once elected our representatives feel aloof from their constituents and are easily influenced by special interest groups. We intend to oppose any elected representative who violates the will of the people. Once we discover they have acted in that manner, we will expose them publicly and work to remove them from office.
General Philosophy
This is a politically conservative organization that promotes traditional family values and the principles of fiscal and social conservatism. We believe limited government is necessary to maximize the freedom and potential of the people. Freeing individuals and businesses from excessive government regulation and taxation will contribute to the general prosperity. Government should relegate its duties to private charities and private contractors as much as possible. Government plays an important part as a referee on the playing field in making sure the rules of the game are followed so there is fairness in competition, but it should not exceed its responsibilities and interfere in the game. There is a tendency of government to expand its power through expanded taxation. Government in our state and country has become so bloated that we have to oppose all new taxation. We believe that much higher levels of efficiency can be achieved by all government agencies by applying free market principles and constraints to them. Excessive taxation is morally the same as theft. Our society should censor all persons who steal, from the convenience store robber to the greedy politician.
Methods
As a political action committee one of our first objectives will be to raise money. We will seek to raise money primarily from individuals and but also from businesses. We will accept money from persons and businesses on the basis of common agreement with our principles and not for specific actions to benefit specific groups. As a PAC that truly represents the people of our state we have to be careful to follow the guidelines we promote.

One of our most important functions will be to seek out and discover good potential candidates for office. Since most honest people already have a job and responsibilities, that will require a lot of effort, first in finding them, and second in persuading them to run. Once an honest person is found, he/she will need backing in two ways. First he/she will need money to run his/her campaign. And second he will need people to help. Those two things are the most difficult obstacles that keep most good people from running for office. By removing those obstacles we hope to populate our government with people of integrity instead of those with self-serving ambitions.

We will also work to identify elected officials who have betrayed the trust of the people. We will seek to end their political careers. If we are successful in doing that, officials in our state will fear to betray the people. We will also work to identify bureaucrats, or appointed officials who betray the people. We will work hard to elect persons who have the courage to remove them from their positions and end their public service careers. In this way non-elected officials will fear to betray the people.
Plan of Action - Education
Our plan of action will start with educating the common citizen on the why and how to become involved in his government. If government is to be “by the people and for the people” there must be participation. Part of the reason our state and nation are in the mess they are in is because of lack of participation. We attribute this to a lack of knowledge. First people are ignorant of why they should participate. We desire to impress upon every person a sense of moral obligation to at least vote, but also to participate in a political party. We want to help people identify their callings and the level of involvement in the political process to which they are gifted.

We believe the most important component of a campaign is grass roots involvement, or having common people working to support their candidate. That is much more important than money, and candidates can be elected without a lot of money. We also see the value in having money to pay for campaign costs and to run campaign ads in the media. Usually, the candidate with integrity does not have the financial backing from big money interests because he cannot be bought. As a result there is a tendency for compromised persons to win elections. We hope to put that tendency to an end. We will only accept money from big money interests that have no stipulations and have a hands-off approach because they believe in the principles that we stand for. Those types of interests usually are free market business that are actually the employers of the people of our state and as such are benefactors of the people and share a common interest with the people. We welcome that type of support, but we also want to encourage every citizen who loves freedom to make their own personal sacrifice in money and time to promote the common good.
Urgency & Immediacy
We feel it is of supreme importance to capitalize on the current emotion and to use it as a catapult for success. Governor Guinn’s bloated budget and tax increase manipulations have been very public and people know quite a bit about what has been going on. We hope to coalesce their opinions into definite judgments and into personal decisions to take action to reverse what has happened before they go back into the routines of life and forget how they have been abused. We encourage donors to give with that in mind and to consider the costs of not acting quickly and forcefully.
We the People Principles
The following are the principles that we will expect those running for office to support. This list is by no means exhaustive and is open for discussion and amendment by those who join We The People.
Political Corruption
What usually goes on in politics, they exchange of favors by persons or groups for personal advantage and enrichment at the cost of others (i.e. the society as a whole), is immoral and should not take place. Those who behave in such a way should be exposed and removed from office.
Public Servents
Elected and appointed government officials should act as servants of the people and not as dictators. Ways should be sought to make appointed officials accountable to the people. Public servants who work hard for the people should be rewarded and those who do not should be censured.
Freedom
Government should seek to maximize the freedom of its citizens instead of seeking more and more ways to restrict their freedom.
Morality
Government should encourage and remove the obstacles to religious and other groups that increase the general moral atmosphere of the nation. Without a general moral consciousness, freedom cannot exist. This does not include religious groups that seek to attack and destroy freedom.
Constitutional Rights
The principles of the United States Constitution are under assault by left wing judges who misinterpret it. Our goal is to protect it by placing judges who limit themselves to interpreting the Constitution and removing those who try to legislate from the bench against the will of the people
Limited Government
The size of government should be limited to those necessary functions described in the Constitution.
    1. Maintenance of a strong defense.
    2. Maintenance of a stable and fair currency.
    3. Providing for the common welfare (prosperity)
    4. Execute justice on criminals.
    5. And others
Taxation and Slavery
Our current state of taxation in our nation and state is immoral and should be vastly reduced. When taxation goes beyond the minimum necessary to maintain the government functions and services desired by the people it produces economic slavery.
Welfare Reform
Welfare should be changed to Workfare for able persons capable doing any type of work. Our government agencies have taken on too much responsibility for taking care of the poor. That work should be transferred to private charities. Doing so will reduce fraud and the costs of administration.
Privatization
Government should seek ways to allow private companies to compete to provide services.
Bureaucracies
Government agencies should be structured in such a way as to produce competition among them. There should be a system to protect whistleblowers and seek out and find waste and corruption.
Civil Service
Public sector jobs should not exceed comparable positions in the private sector in compensation. Public jobs should be structured to encourage efficiency and productivity. Civil service unions should cooperate in those objectives or be eliminated.
Free Markets & Competition
Government should act as a referee and create a climate of fair and free competition. To do that it must:
    1. Act to prevent the formation of monopolies or near monopolies and to break up currently established monopolies.
    2. Decrease the amount of government regulation that interferes with the ability to do business.
    3. Sometimes it will mean opening up markets to free and fair competition.
    4. Sometimes that will mean penalizing domestic and foreign entities that engage in unfair practices with tariffs or fines.
Immigration Reform
Current immigration laws should be strictly enforced. A system of work permits should be designed to provide labor for companies that rely on cheap foreign labor that prevents those workers from draining the medical, welfare and social services system and returns them to their place of origin.
Freedom of Speech & the Press
Current concepts of political correctness limit freedom of speech and should be eliminated. Pornography is not freedom of speech.
Traditional Family
The radical homosexual movement and other groups seek to destroy the traditional family structure which is the underpinning of society. Their agenda should be opposed. Laws should be passed that reinforce the traditional family and discourage divorce.
Education
Reform of the current educational system is critical. A voucher system would apply free market principles to education reform. Until a voucher system can be instituted the current system should be changed by decreasing the size of the education bureaucracy and returning the schools to teaching the fundamentals. Access to our children by groups with a radical social agenda should be eliminated.
Religious Freedom
There is a strong movement by atheists to ban religious thought form the public square. This should be recognized as an attempt to establish atheism as the national religion. The establishment clause prevents the combining of the state with religious organizations (e.g. the official state religion) but does not prevent the exercise of free speech in conveying religious ideas and thoughts in public institutions. The ACLU, NEA, and other organizations are examples of atheistic institutions trying to gain political control and an unfair advantage over Christian groups by incorrectly interpreting the establishment clause.
Racial Equality
Our country should be a truly color blind society. To accomplish that, racial preferences must end. The government should not collect data by racial groups. The concept that people are created by God as equals no matter what their skin color or social or economic status is fundamental to our society. As a diverse nation we must resist all efforts by those who want to divide us and create envy between groups as a way to obtain political power.
2nd Amendment Rights
We believe in the right of the people to bear arms for personal defense and as a hedge against despotism.
Abortion & Euthanasia
These issues, though controversial, fall under the government’s duty to protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Laws should be passed to progressively restrict abortion and protect the elderly and handicapped from euthanasia. Moral education and family reinforcement are the greatest weapons against unwanted pregnancies. Abortion should not be used as contraception as it currently is. No public or private agency should receive any governmental funding for abortion services.
